Shipping Policy

​​Thank you for choosing Irya. As each bag is a meticulously handcrafted piece, I take great care in ensuring it reaches you safely and beautifully. This policy outlines the details of my shipping process.
1. Order Processing Time
This is the time it takes for me to prepare your order for shipment. Please note that this is separate from the shipping/delivery time.
  • In-Stock Items: As I am the sole artisan behind Irya, please allow 2-4 business days for me to carefully package and dispatch your ready-made bag.
  • Custom & Made-to-Order Items: The creation and processing time for a bespoke piece (like a custom color or a "Sonntag" bag) will be longer. This specific timeline will be communicated and agreed upon with you directly during our consultation process before you finalize your order.
You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.
2. Domestic Shipping (Within Switzerland & Liechtenstein)
 
I am pleased to offer complimentary shipping for all domestic orders.
  • Carrier: Swiss Post (Die Post)
  • Service: Priority (A-Post), including tracking and insurance.
  • Cost: Free
  • Estimated Delivery Time: 1-2 business days after dispatch.
3. International Shipping
I am delighted to ship my handcrafted pieces to customers around the world. Complimentary standard shipping for all orders. Costs for urgent shipping shall be borne by the customer.
  • Carrier: Swiss Post International or a designated courier (e.g., DHL), always with tracking and insurance.
  • Cost: International shipping rates are calculated automatically at checkout based on your location and the weight of the package.
  • Estimated Delivery Times: These are estimates and can vary due to customs processing in your country.
    • Europe: 1-3 business days after dispatch.
    • North America (USA, Canada): 2-8 business days after dispatch.
    • Rest of World: 3-8 business days after dispatch.
Important Note for International Buyers: Customs, Duties, and Taxes
Please be aware that all international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs processing fees levied by the destination country. The buyer is solely responsible for paying these additional charges.
Irya has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; I1 recommend you contact your local customs office for further information. Please do not request for items to be marked as "gifts" or have their value understated to avoid these fees, as this is illegal.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email that includes your tracking number. You can use this number to follow your package's journey to your doorstep.
5. Incorrect Address
It is the buyer's responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address. Please double-check your details at checkout. I cannot be held responsible for packages delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to me due to an incorrect address, I will contact you to arrange for re-shipment at the buyer's expense.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
Every bag is packaged with the utmost care to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. In the rare event that your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact me immediately at info@irya.ch. Please retain all original packaging, as this may be required for filing a claim with the shipping carrier. I will do my best to assist you in resolving the issue with the carrier.
